[Readathon] #TheReadingQuest

When I stumbled over #TheReadingQuest by Aentee from Read at Midnight, I was instantly hooked! I mean, hello! A video game quest inspired reading adventure? COUNT ME IN!

For all the Information needed, please visit the Sign Up post on Aentee’s blog, in which she explains all the important details.

#TheReadingQuest runs from August 13th to September 10th. During this time, you pick one character. A character, that marks your start on the bingo board posted (desing by CW of Read, Think, Ponder – it’s stunning, isn’t it?) below. To level up and collect points, you have to do all the challenges on your character path. Only then can you move on to the next character class.

My character class of choice is BARD. While the bards may not engage in direct combat, they make up for it with their intimate knowledge of songs and stories. They will travel through the Fifth Down path on the quest board, reading famed tales and singing lost songs.

Sounds perfect for me. I will travel the Bard’s path, and in case I continue this one, I will continue along the Rogue path, and do a few of the side quests on the way. For all of them, I picked a TBR already. I will post monthly updates on my blog, with everything I’ve read and my current score. 🙂
